If you’re looking for students, go to the blue building. If you’re looking for River Kidz, classrooms, the auditorium, and the adult services, head to the gray building.

What Do I Wear?
Dress comfortably. While some people dress up, most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings. Don’t worry about what you wear, just come and relax and learn about a God who loves you.

When Do I Need To Arrive?
Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes before the service starts. (click here for service times). This will allow plenty of time for parking, getting a cup of coffee, checking in kids, and finding a seat in the auditorium.

Can Someone Show Me Around?
Yes! Swing by our First Time Guests Desk in the lobby. Someone from the host team would love to show you around and answer any questions. They will assist you in finding worship environments designed for you and your children. If you’d like something to drink, you can pick that up a cup of coffee or other drinks at the coffee counter. While you are here, relax. We hope you feel comfortable, accepted, engaged, and inspired.

I Have Preschool Age Children?
If you have Preschool aged children, birth through PreK, you can take them to the River Kidz Preschool area. In River Kidz Preschool, we provide a safe, clean, and secure environment where your children will be well taken care of and taught a practical and easy to understand lesson from the Bible.

I Have Elementary Age Children?
If you have Elementary School age children, in grades K-5, you can take them to the River Kidz Elementary area (click here for more info). In River Kidz Elementary, well trained and equipped leaders will sing with your children, play games, teach them the Bible, and interact with them in age-divided small groups. River Kidz is AWESOME. Your children will love it.

My Children Are In Middle Or High School?
If you have children in high school, bring them into worship with you. Our high school students meet most Sunday nights, 6:30pm until 8:00pm, for games, worship and some small group time to dig deeper and build relationships. Middle schoolers meet during the 11:15am service time in the blue building. Click here for more info and a calendar of upcoming events for NRS {New River Students}.

What Happens In Worship?
We usually start our time of worship together by singing. After we sing, one of our pastors will teach from the Bible. If you didn’t bring a Bible with you, and you’d like to follow along, you can get one for free at the Next Steps Desk in the Lobby (or you can follow along on your mobile device at newriver.church/notes). After the Bible teaching, we usually sing some more. After worship, feel free to hang around, ask questions, or just relax. You may find yourself wanting to be more connected with God and with what’s going on at New River. We believe Jesus came to initiate a relationship with Him, not to be religious, so we emphasize connection and relationships.
